Did you know? You can have multiple event sign-in pages and verification pages running simultaneously.

To begin tracking attendance, find the event card you want and select Run Event. This launches the sign-in page—a dynamic interface designed for attendees. Depending on your event options, you'll see the Purdue ID card scanner option, manual entry option, or both.

You need to configure the MRD5 scanner before using it.
</aside>
With a properly configured MRD5 scanner, attendees simply swipe or tap their IDs. The system automatically logs their data, which event owners can download after the event. Event managers should watch for red alerts, which indicate failed card swipes.
For manual entry, attendees tap or click the card to open a custom form. When an attendee uses a Purdue email address, the form prompts them to enter their username and verifies it against Purdue records. All submitted data is stored for attendance reports after the event.

Did you know? Your data saves automatically throughout the event, so you don't need to use this exit method to preserve your data.
</aside>
You can exit the sign-in page anytime by clicking the menu in the upper-right corner and selecting Save and close event.

Did you know? Marking an attendee as confirmed or questionable is completely optional.

The verification screen is a mode designed for event workers to verify attendee identities. It displays the Purdue ID photograph of each person who swipes or taps into the event. This feature is particularly useful for events requiring identity verification, such as exams, seminars, and certification events.
Individual mode displays a large image with clear controls to confirm or question an attendee's identity. The system stores this verification data in the event report. As attendees check in, their images appear on the right, allowing workers to scroll through the timeline.
For recurring or multi-day events, a toggle at the bottom of the page lets you switch between viewing all attendees from the entire event or just those from today. The toggle defaults to showing only today's attendees.
