Pitch allows staff members to skirt the competition registration rules. Staff can register members outside of the allowed timeline, and they can remove members so that teams fall below the minimum required and add members so that teams fall above the maximum required in competition details.
You'll receive alert messages to let you know you've gone beyond the rules you've set, but nothing will force you to rectify the issue.
You can add a team member by clicking
in the upper-right-hand corner of the Team Member panel. A modal will appear asking for you to provide their username. Type the username into the box and select from the drop-down.
An example of bypassing registration when adding a team member
You can now force Pitch to bypass the individual registration requirement when adding an individual to a team. Check the box on the modal when adding, and they'll immediately be registered. If all of the team members have completed their registration, then that team will have access to all of Pitch's features.
If there is no name in the drop-down after typing in a username, it means that you've typed in the wrong username or the user is not in our database. You'll need to contact [email protected] to request an administrator add the user to Pitch's database.
