When you create a competition, you will be the only staff member on the competition. Or, perhaps you've simply been added to a competition as a staff member. Either way, let's say you want to add some friends or colleagues to help you manage the competition- it's a very simple process!

<aside> <img src="/icons/info-alternate_blue.svg" alt="/icons/info-alternate_blue.svg" width="40px" /> What is a staff member? A staff member has complete access to the competition. They are able to control all aspects of the competition. This includes managing teams, posting announcements, and editing competition details. We suggest only adding people you trust!

Add a Staff Member

and enter the username of the person you wish to add as a staff member. Once you've selected the username, select

again. That's it, now you've added another staff member!

Remove a Staff Member

To remove a member, on the staff page simply click

next to the name of the member you wish to remove. There are a few things to remember about this, though!

<aside> <img src="/icons/warning_red.svg" alt="/icons/warning_red.svg" width="40px" /> You are able to remove yourself from staff on a competition. However, there must be at least one staff member on a competition. If you are the only staff member, you will need to assign another staff member before you can remove yourself.

Please note that you will not be able to add yourself back into the competition, even if you created it. A current staff member will have to add you back into the list.

<aside> <img src="/icons/report_orange.svg" alt="/icons/report_orange.svg" width="40px" /> When you remove a staff member from a competition, any content they added to the competition will still remain! However, their name will no longer be attached to any information they added- such as announcements they posted.
