Now let's say your competition is going to have a lot of people. Or, perhaps there are different types of projects within the same competition! Tracks are a great way to organize your teams into groups.
Competition tracks are groups into which registering teams can self-identify. Tracks can be helpful if there are multiple sub-competitions within a single competition or if you would like to group teams by a certain identity. You'll be able to filter teams by tracks throughout Pitch. If you only have one track, teams will automatically be assigned to that track.

If you create tracks after teams have registered, you will have to manually assign them to a different track.
